Hi to all my beautiful friends of “Behind the Smile,- Every SMILE hides a story behind it – mine carries both love and heartbreak – the invisible scars left by years of emotion abuse, betrayal, and manipulation by a man who wore the mask of a husband but played the role of a narcissist.
For too long, I lived in a world where love was used as a weapon – where lies became truth, and truth became my crime He broke me down quietly, made me question my worth, and turned his betrayal into my guilt. And like so many women, I stayed – hoping that love would heal what deceit destroyed.
Then came the affair – the ultimate betrayal. And somehow, he still managed to make himself the victim. He said he was sorry, yet did nothing to show it. He moved on as if he had only broken a glass – a simple mistake quickly swept aside. i was not allowed to speak of it; the moment I did, the rage would return the yelling, the anger, the hate, the threats of divorce and the silence became my survival. Behind the Smile is where I share the moments that shaped me – as a woman, a mother, and a survivor of love that wasn’t always kind and so hurtful being in a narcissistic relationship/ marriage.
But one day , I saw the truth in the mirror. I realized that I was not the villain in his story – I was the woman who survived it. The Mirror Project was born from that moment – from the strength it takes to smile when your heart is breaking , to rebuild when you’ve been blamed, and to love yourself again when someone made you doubt that you could.
I still love the small, beautiful things, music that touches the soul, the comfort of cooking and the peace of open skies. My children and grandchildren are my reason to rise. Loyalty – reminders that peace doesn’t have to be perfect to be real.

This space was born from the quiet pain behind too many perfect smiles. it’s for every woman who has loved deeply and lost herself in the shadows of emotional abuse, betrayal, and manipulation – for those who were made to believe they were the problem when they were only fighting to be love right. Here, we turn heartbreak into healing, silence into strength, silence into strength, and reflection into rediscovery. Because the moment a woman sees her truth in the mirror, she doesnt just survive – she rises.

We aim to foster our lady friends- that encourages empathy, understanding, and connection through the power of storytelling.
